Who it is for

Two paths. The same depth.

You do not need to believe to use Consurgam, and you do not need to hide your faith. Pick a path when you start and switch whenever you like. Neither one is the lite version.

Path

With faith

For Catholics, and for anyone who wants his faith to carry him through the hard hours.

  • Short prayers in the emergency minute, when you want them.
  • An evening examen in the Ignatian tradition.
  • Mercy first after a fall, together with sorrow and a new start. The app invites you to confession and never makes it a condition for using the app.
  • Personal questions of conscience, such as receiving Communion, you discuss with your confessor, who guides you in the light of the Church's teaching. The app does not judge.
Path

Without religious reference

For men who do not believe, or who are not sure. On this path: plain language, no prayers, no sacraments, nobody trying to convert you.

  • The same emergency button and the same ninety seconds.
  • An evening review in the same few minutes, in place of the examen.
  • The same calendar and the same short units from cognitive behavioral therapy and ACT.
  • Nothing held back. This path is not a reduced version.

You can switch paths at any time, in both directions.

What the app does

Built for the morning after

The hard part is rarely the first day. It is the morning after a fall, when shame says: hide it. Everything in Consurgam is made so that coming back is easier than hiding.

Today at a glance

Emergency button, 90 seconds

Screenshot of the calendar: gold days are faithful, a dashed circle marks a fall, a green ring marks confession.

Calendar without reset

  • Emergency button

Ninety seconds, one step at a time. It tells you to decide nothing yet and to get up and change rooms, and it keeps a person one tap away.

  • After a fall

Mercy first, then a 24-hour plan: what was going on before, and what helps next time. On the faith path, the app invites you to confession and never makes it a gate to the app.

  • Evening examen or evening review

About five minutes at the end of the day. A look back without a penalty score.

  • Calendar without reset

Days are collected, never wiped. Gold means faithful, a dashed circle means fallen, a green ring marks confession. A fall stays visible, quietly, and the path goes on.

  • Retreat lock

Through Screen Time, a pause appears before the apps and sites you choose. It shows your own sentence and a button, Turn back, that leads you out. Opening anyway is possible after a short wait. Your decision, not a wall.

  • Partner check-in

One person you trust, a brother or a friend. You say how it stands, when you choose. No live feed and no automatic reports.

  • Crisis card

For nights when it is more than an urge: where to turn right now, stored on your phone, one tap away.

  • Short units

Three to five minutes at a time, drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy and ACT: if-then plans, a map of your triggers, a plan for setbacks.

Screens from the test version with sample data. Wording and details may change before release.

Lent cohort 2027

Start together on Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday, February 10, 2027

The first cohort begins with Lent. Lent is an old frame for a new start, and a shared first day makes it easier to begin. Leave your email address and we will write when the places open.

Your path (optional)

You will get a confirmation email first. You are on the list only after you click the link in it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Your sign-up and your choice of path can say something very personal about you (special category data under Art. 9 GDPR). By ticking the box you expressly consent to it being stored for this purpose. Questions

Is Consurgam only for Catholics?

No. Consurgam grows out of the Catholic tradition, but you do not have to be Catholic or believe at all. There is a second path without religious language and with the same depth. You choose at the start and can switch at any time.

Does anyone see my data?

No. Your entries stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no tracking and no analytics, so we cannot see what you do in the app. The only thing we hold is the email address you give us if you join the waitlist.

Will other people notice what the app is?

On your home screen it is a letter C and the word Consurgam. Notifications use neutral wording, and the app can be locked with Face ID. Apple lists purchases under the app name, Consurgam, which gives nothing away.

Does this replace therapy?

No. Consurgam is a companion, not a treatment. If you feel stuck, hopeless, or have thoughts of harming yourself, please talk to a doctor, a therapist or a crisis line. In an emergency call your local emergency number; in the US you can call or text 988. The crisis card in the app lists where to turn.

What does it cost?

The annual subscription is $59.99 (€59.99) with 14 days free, the monthly one $9.99 (€9.99). The emergency core stays free, always.

When does it start?

The Lent cohort starts on Ash Wednesday, February 10, 2027. People on the waitlist hear first.

Is there an Android version?

Not at the start. Consurgam launches for iPhone first, and we have no date for anything beyond that.

Can my partner or a friend see my progress?

Only what you choose to send. There is no live feed and no automatic report. Partner check-in is a way for you to say how it stands, not a way for someone to watch you.
